Caregivers for seniors (Vancouver)

Caring, dependable people needed to provide companion and personal care to seniors. Flexible hours (days, nights, weekends, live-ins). Car and great attitude required!!!!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Companionship and conversation

• Light housekeeping

• Household management

• Walking assistance

• Eating assistance

• Errands

• Transportation

• Meal planning and preparation

• Laundry and linen

• Bathing assistance

• Dressing assistance

• Toileting

• Medication reminders

• Monitor Alzheimer’s & Dementia clients

In sleep-over or live in situations

• Assist client to and from bed • Assist client throughout the night

QUALIFICATIONS
• Appropriate designation to provide Personal Care services (RCA, HCA).

• Must have at least 2 - 3 years of experience

• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level.

• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations.

• Pass a criminal background check prior to employment.

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months

• Current First Aid with CPR

• Self-starter and self-motivated

• *Valid driver’s license with no serious driving violations.*
